Art Keller Field

Art Keller Field, home to Carthage football, soccer, lacrosse and track & field, is a premier athletic facility located on the campus of Carthage College in Kenosha, Wis. The facility features a field turf playing surface, stadium seating for 2,448 spectators, an 8-lane 400m track and a 7-unit press box facility.

Seating for fans is located on either side of the field, with visiting team seating located on the west side of the field. Carthage fan seating and the press box are located on the east side of the facility, attached to the Campbell Student Union. The Campbell Student Union, press facility and seating opened in the fall of 2011 as part of a $11.5 million project on the site of the previous Seidemann Building, which functioned as the college’s natatorium until the Tarble Athletic & Recreation Center was constructed in 2001. The press facility features designated areas for game management, home & visiting coaches, home & visiting media, a webcasting suite and a VIP gathering suite. In addition to the press box, the Campbell Student Union also features five foodservice options, dining areas, a community living room, a 200-seat THX multipurpose auditorium and the Barnes & Noble bookstore. These facilities allow Carthage to host a variety of athletic events; including conference and NCAA championship tournaments.

In 1997, thanks to a major gift from David and Gael Romoser, an artificial surface was installed on Art Keller Field. In 2007, the surface was replaced with “Field Turf”, one of the leading artificial surface companies in the world.
